Video Highlights from MOOC Madness: Technapex’s Panel on Online Education

We don’t want to stop the madness just yet — that’s why we’re posting video highlights of Monday’s MOOC Madness panel on online education to our blog today.

The event, hosted by TriplePoint and Technapex, included a panel discussion on the rapid changes higher education has undergone in the past few years, focusing on MOOCs and online education. Our stellar panel discussed what we gain and what we lose when we take education online, and each brought their own unique perspectives and insights to share.

Speakers included Keith Devlin, mathematics professor at Stanford teaching his second MOOC; Amin Saberi, founder and CEO of NovoEd; Inna Lisker, associate director for Berkeley’s Resource Center for Online Education; and James Vernon, history professor at UC Berkeley and co-chair of the Berkeley Faculty Association.

Check out the discussion highlights below. We’ll be posting a full-length video recap to the Technapex in the next few days as well, so for those who were unable to attend the mixer, stay tuned for the full discussion!
