Apply to Launch Your Edtech Product at SXSWedu

Attention edtech startups! Do you have a product or service that will be ready to showcase in early 2013? If so, SXSWedu is a great place to do it.

Next year’s SXSW edu conference will take place on March 4-7, 2013, in Austin, Texas. Part of the conference is dedicated to edtech startups looking to showcase their innovative  products and services. The LAUNCHedu competition provides a great destination for startups looking to present their ideas, as education stakeholders such as teachers, administrators, investors, and policymakers will be present at the conference.

Applications are due next Friday, November 9. It costs $200 to apply, and companies interested in applying can do so here. To be eligible, applicants must have launched a product in the K-12 or Higher Education markets and have testimonials on the value of the product. However, they must still be seeking seed or early stage investment (seed or A round) from investors.

Finalists will be announced on January 7, 2013, and winners will be announced at the conference on March 6.
