Live in the Bay Area and have some time this afternoon to chat with other edtech innovators?
The Silicon Valley Digital Learning Meetup group is hosting a gathering on Stanford campus today at 2pm PT. Over 100 have already RSVP’d to meet up to discuss innovation and entrepreneurship in digital learning. The event is co-hosted by Stanford University Graduate School of Education Professor, Roy Pea, with the U.S. Department of Education’s Karen Cator, and Director of the Office of Educational Technology and OET’s Deputy Director, Richard Culatta.
The conversation will focus on PreK-12 digital learning in both formal and informal environments. Sounds like it is shaping up to be an insightful discussion.
The event will take place in the CERAS Building Lobby (Center for Educational Research at Stanford). Check out this map for directions: http://ed.stanford.edu/about/maps-directions.
