Jorge Vega, Director of Technology at the Sage School in Foxboro, MA uploaded a new video in anticipation of the 2012-2013 school year. Vega shares some of the new tech developments at the private K-8 grade school for gifted children.
Vega talks about Sage being a “Google School,” one of a growing number of institutions to embrace Google apps and cloud-based technology infrastructures.
“Now that we’re in the third year of living in the cloud, we’re ready to explore some of the new device opportunities that we can bring to the classroom,” Vega said, discussing an iPad program, the use of Google Chromebooks, and a future increase to a true 1:1 laptop program.
