PBS LearningMedia commissioned a survey of U.S. teachers which revealed a wide interest in incorporating more technology into classrooms. Three quarters of those surveyed wanted more digital tools to help engage students.
The survey also revealed (as expected), budgeting remains the primary obstacle to modernizing classrooms to meet the needs of students poised to enter the digital world. Sixty-three percent believe the cost of most technology is too high.
