Components of a 21st Century Classroom [Infographic]

A new infographic titled “Components of a 21st Century Classroom” was released collaboratively today by Open Colleges, an Australian provider of distance learning, and Edudemic, a news site for learning and education trends. Here on Technapex we cover the latest news and trends in the edtech world, so it’s always interesting for us to see how schools are succeeding and where they’re having difficulty integrating technology in the classroom.

Take a look at the infographic  and see if you learn something new! For example, did you know that in the 21st century, online course enrollment saw 21 percent growth while overall higher education student population only saw 2 percent growth?

Yet even in the new millenium, only one out of five teachers feels that his or her classroom has the right level of technology. This infographic shows the progress that’s being made in incorporating technology in education, but it also shows that there’s still have a long way to go.
